This program is designed for future and current mothers who are dedicated to cultivating a healthy pregnancy that benefits you and your baby. As a 15 month program, Happy Mother - Healthy Baby is comprised of 5 chapters: Preconception, 1st Term, 2nd Term, 3rd Term & Postpartum. Preparing your body, mind and general health for pregnancy has numerous benefits and helps reduce the risk of complications during delivery. With a three -tier approach, our program will help you better manage your health and happiness with safe & effective exercise programming, functional nutrition and happiness training.

HOW IT WORKS

Weight gain is expected and typically required during pregnancy for optimal growth of your child. Having said that, it is important to begin pregnancy with a healthy weight and BMI. Our preconception program mimics our Happy Brain - Healthy Body™ program, which focuses on sustainable weight loss over a period of 3 months. The 1st Term chapter of this program focuses on functional fitness and calorie management that will help prepare you for the months to come. Though little weight gain occurs in the first trimester, it is important to install habits that will facilitate healthy weight gain in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. Our 2nd Term chapter focuses on posterior chain and postural strength conditioning and healthy weight tracking as your calorie requirement increases. The 3rd Term chapter will reduce the intensity of exercise with a stricter focus on delivery preparation, gentle prenatal yoga and mobility and further healthy weight tracking. Once you have recovered from delivery, our Postpartum program focuses on steady and purposeful weight loss with a fitness focus on muscles for motherhood.
