Maternal health is paramount for optimal baby health, and we're here to help. Our happy brain, heathy baby program focuses on maternal health for women who are planning to get pregnant, are pregnant or have previously been pregnant. The program focuses on promoting optimal maternal health by focusing on weight management, appropriate nutrition, physical functionality and wellbeing.

The happy brain, health baby program consists of 5 separate programs, each with a slightly different focus and goal, but all of which center around promoting optimal maternal health that translates to a health baby. These programs target exercise, nutrition and happiness training so that you may be healthy and happy throughout your beautiful journey. 

Unlike our flagship program, happy brain, healthy body, the primary goal for this program is not exclusively weight loss. In fact, some weight gain is necessary and healthy for pregnancy. Weight loss is a primary focus for women looking to get pregnant or have recently been pregnant, but for clients that are currently pregnant, our focus is healthy weight management and overall maternal health that translates to a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. We do this by strategically implementing appropriate, safe and healthy exercises, eating habits and supplemental wellbeing training. Each program for the happy brain, healthy baby is 3 months (91 days) and includes daily exercise plans, a detailed nutrition log and wellbeing modules to keep you happy every step of the way. 

Prepregnancy

This program focuses on preparing your body for pregnancy. Obtaining optimal health prior to becoming pregnant will promote a more healthy and less complicated pregnancy. Pregnancy has many physical and physiological demands - we help prepare you for this by aiding in weight maintenance and strength conditioning required for carrying a baby. 

1st trimester

Exercise during your first trimester has been shown to be both safe and heathy for mom and baby.During your first trimester, we'll focus on core, upper, and lower body strength and pelvic floor exercises. We'll also focus on building mindset, resilience, and savoring to create a positive environment for you and your baby throughout your pregnancy. 

2nd trimester

Our 2nd trimester program focuses on promoting healthy weight gain and continued safe physical activity that will support you during delivery and beyond. During this trimester, we focus on lower body and structural exercises, cardiovascular health, and stretching. We'll also focus on skills like mindfulness, self-compassion, relationship-building, and celebrating.

3rd trimester

Our 3rd trimester program focuses on gentle movement, stretching, and balance. Through our positive-psychology infused journaling, you'll exercise skills like mind & body awareness, mindfulness techniques and self-love to support you and your baby through the final phase of your pregnancy. 

postpartum

Our Postpartum program focuses on renewal and vitality for new super-mothers! Together, we'll focus on reincorporating physical movement and strength training that you can fit into even the most hectic schedule. We'll also focus on equipping you with mindfulness and well-being skills that will help you navigate this new chapter.

Exercise

Our program uses cardiovascular, strength, metabolic and mobility training to promote fat loss and build and preserve lean muscle mass. We use a periodization model to optimize progression and recovery.

Nutrition

We use a straightforward approach to eating healthy. Quality and quantity hold equal importance in this program. Our program requires clients to follow the calorie requirement each day with whole, non-processed foods that guarantee weight loss. 

Psychology

Building healthy habits and weight loss requires the right mindset. Our happiness coach provides clients with the right tools to fortify their minds and hearts to become motivated and resilient while pursuing their weight loss goals.
